Dr Cham has an illustrious career and profile, and has been conferred with numerous awards including Singapore’s Public Administration Gold Medal in 1986 and the 5th ASEAN Achievement Awards in Education in 1997.

He was the former President of Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. He is also a Board member of publicly listed Adroit Innovations, Baccarat International Private Limited, Far Eastern Bank Limited, Keppel Corporation, John Little Private Limited, Robinson & Co, United Overseas Bank, and WBL Corporation.

He is also Chairman of Singapore Symphonia Co., and a Director / Committee Member of the Biomedical research Council Board (of the Agency for Science, Technology & Research), Executive Committee on Biomedical Sciences (of the Economic Development Board of Singapore), Land Transport Authority of Singapore, and The Oxford & Cambridge Society of Singapore (President).

Siew Choon brings valuable of business and technology insight from having managed major Singaporean companies. He is now Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd (STPL), where he has been a board member since November 1995, and Deputy Chairman and CEO of Green Dot Capital Pte Ltd (a subsidiary of STPL).

He is chairman of Singapore National Publishing Corporation Ltd, NexGen Financial Holdings Ltd, and Singapore Computer Systems Ltd, one of the largest systems houses in the Asia-Pacific Region.

He is also a board member of SembCorp Industries Ltd, an integrated services group. Additional board memberships include Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, ST Assembly Test Services Ltd, ST Telemedia Pte Ltd, and Port of Singapore Authority Corporation Limited.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) honors degree from Auckland University, a Masters of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the former University of Singapore.
